Agreement to these Terms
By installing, accessing, or using Higxel, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Higxel.
What Higxel provides
Higxel helps you capture receipts, extract purchase details, review and edit expenses, organize categories and groups, view spending summaries, and optionally sync or back up data through connected services.
Features may vary by app version, device, region, account status, connected services, permissions, and backend availability.
Accounts and security
You may need to sign in with Google to use cloud backup, sync, account recovery, and cross-device access. You are responsible for keeping your Google account and device secure.
You may delete your Higxel account data using the available in-app account deletion option.
AI, OCR, and extracted results
Higxel uses OCR, rules, and AI-assisted processing to suggest merchants, dates, items, categories, groups, taxes, discounts, totals, and other expense details.
Before relying on an expense record, budget number, synced row, report, or insight, you should review it and correct anything important.
Higxel is not financial, accounting, tax, investment, legal, or professional advice.
Optional permissions and integrations
If enabled, Higxel may review supported Android notification content to suggest possible expenses.
If enabled, Higxel may create, read, update, or delete the spreadsheet rows needed to perform the sync you request.
If enabled through your account, Higxel may store data on its backend to restore your expenses and settings across devices.
Your responsibilities
You agree not to misuse Higxel, bypass security, upload content you cannot process, interfere with the service, create misleading records, or rely on Higxel as a substitute for professional advice.
Availability, changes, and updates
Higxel may change, suspend, remove, or limit features at any time. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, bugs, network issues, device settings, third-party failures, cloud outages, or other causes.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Higxel is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Higxel disclaims warranties of accuracy, reliability, uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Higxel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, inaccurate records, missed reimbursements, tax consequences, or reliance on AI/OCR output.
Changes to these Terms
Higxel may update these Terms as the product, providers, legal requirements, or business needs change. Continuing to use Higxel after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
